The presentation will give a brief explanation of some of the benefits of the technology – reducing field collection time and recording all visible information and evidence. It will also detail some of the applications of the equipment - such as recording accident or crime scene information.

How it works:
Laser scanning is a remarkable technology that can capture a large amount of building and site data in a small amount of time as compared to conventional methods of gathering data. The equipment scans 120,000 points per second and gathers enough information to produce a 3 dimension image or point cloud.
